LUNAR Festival 2024: Illuminating Sofia's Nightscape Once Again
Sofia's Lunar Festival of Lights is back, illuminating the city with more than 20 captivating light installations across its most iconic landmarks.
In a special message to their fans on Facebook, German heavy metal legend band Rammstein say they were much looking forward to Sofia Rocks Festival to rock the ground.
The fest starts Friday at the National "Vasil Levski" Stadium.
It will be one of the last concerts of the band before they go on break.
Rammstein are coming to Sofia with 25 huge trucks with equipment, but the exact arrival day is not yet known.
Founder Richard Kruspe has said in an interview for the Bulgarian fans that as usual the band will act spontaneously and will decide on the spot how long they will perform and if they will stay at the stadium to party after the concert.
Rammstein have asked for freshly-baked high-quality coffee and dark tequila for their dressing rooms, which they want to be painted in light colors and to have many large mirrors, and for Veuve Cliсquot champagne for the backstage.
The materials for the huge festival stage have already arrived from Italy. The construction starts Monday and will last three days, with a day and a half needed for the lights only. The preparation for the pyro effects of Rammstein will take the entire night before their show.
Other bands include Bullet For My Valentine, who are arriving for the first time in Bulgaria to present their new album Temper Temper. The four from Wales have asked for sushi, traditional Bulgarian cuisine, honey, tea and 3 cases of mineral water.
Hдmatom are bringing their own LED screen in a promise to stage a phenomenal multi-media show, prepared specially for the Bulgarian audience.
Enslaved are betting on an impressive set of drums and have requested large quantities of beer.
