Aston Villa Signs Bulgaria's Tonev

Aston Villa have agreed a deal to sign Bulgaria international Aleksandar Tonev from Polish side Lech Poznan for an undisclosed fee.
The 23-year-old midfielder completed a medical and agreed terms at the club's Bodymoor Heath training ground, with the move set to be finalised next week.
Polish newspaper Przeglad Sportowy the deal is worth EUR 3.2 M, with a possible EUR 500,000 option based on matches played.
Tonev played alongside Stiliyan Petrov when he made his Bulgaria debut against Wales in October 2011 and in total has played 11 times for the national team, scoring a hat-trick in the 6-0 victory over Malta in March.
Celtic and Werder Bremen were also interested in the 23-year-old Lech Poznan winger.
Another Bulgarian international, Ivelin Popov, has been also linked with Aston Villa over the past week.
