Bulgarian international Aleksander Tonev has completed a physical in Birmingham and will be signed by Aston Villa, according to Polish newspaper Przeglad Sportowy.
The deal will be worth EUR 3.2 M, with a possible EUR 500,000 option based on matches played, according to the paper.
Aston Villa were today cool on claims Tonev was in Birmingham for a medical.
Celtic and Werder Bremen are also interested in the 23-year-old Lech Poznan winger.
Another Bulgarian international, Ivelin Popov, has been also linked with Aston Villa over the past week.
