Bulgaria launched Tuesday the traditional spring book bazaar, offering books from all genres and price ranges.
The bazaar is organized by the Association "Bulgarian Book" in the frame of the May Days of Culture.
It will be held until June 2, on the third floor of the National Palace of Culture in downtown Sofia. Bestselling Bulgarian authors will be participating in readings and book signings.
They include Lyudmila Filipova, Alexander Sekulov, Ivo Siromahov, Mona Foskolo, Boyan Benev, Kalin Terziyski, Svetlana Dicheva, Petar Delchev, Lyudmil Todorov, Deyan Denev, Georgi Gospodinov, Vasil Georgiev, Mihail Veshim, Hristo Hristov, and Stanislava Stanoeva.
On June 1, International Children Day, all publishers of children books will offer discounts.
There is a special place to sit down and read a book.
The bazaar has enjoyed many visitors since its first say with discounts reaching up to 50%.
