An explosion has gone off in the center of Syrian capital Damascus Tuesday, with people killed, according to inital reports.
Automatic gunfire erupted in the area of the Marjeh district of Damascus after the attack.
The Syrian National TV reported that the explosion is a result of a terrorist car bombing in front of the Ministry of Interior.
Monday a similar attack was directed against Syrian PM Wael Al-Halqi, who survived the assassination attempt.
The death toll of Tuesday's explosion is 13 people killed, with dozens more injured, some of them critically.
