Politicians who promise to boost the industry and create jobs after May general elections are blatantly lying voters, according to rightist leader and former PM Ivan Kostov.
"You can't do that because there is no money. But the state can create the preconditions that would better favor enterpreneurship," said Kostov for Darik Radio.
According to Bulgaria's former PM (1997-2001), the great factor impeding the boost of Bulgaria's economy are dominating positions of some companies and cartels, as well as the inefficient rule of law in the country.
Kostov stated that Bulgaria now needs a government implementing rightist policies, and that his Democrats for Strong Bulgaria party is ready and capable of contributing to that.
