The Bulgarian Council for Economic Development and Social Policies is holding Thursday its very first meeting to discuss measures to encourage competitiveness and priorities for attracting foreign investments.

The Council, along five others, was established at the presidential institution by new President, Rosen Plevneliev. The others are the Councils for Regional and Infrastructure Development, for Legal Affairs, for Science and Education, for Defense and Security, and for Spirituality, Culture and National Identity.

Participants in the meeting include ministers, deputy ministers, and representatives of the business, the trade unions and of NGOs.
