Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, one of the most prominent Indian spiritual leaders, is to visit Bulgaria on May 21, it has been announced.
Shankar will meet Bulgarians at 7:00 pm in capital Sofia's Arena Armeets sports hall.
Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is credited with being the initiator of a foundation known as the Art of Living Foundation. His aim in life is said to be to teach people cope with stress of everyday life and be at peace with themselves.
Shankar has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize on a total of three occasions. In 2010 Shankar was named by Forbes Magazine as the fifth most influential person in India.
The spiritual leader's first visit to the Balkan country took place in 2009.
