Bulgarian Man Arrested for Attempting to Bribe Traffic Police with BGN 20
In Stara Zagora, Bulgarian authorities apprehended a 35-year-old man who attempted to bribe traffic police with a BGN 20 banknote
A 4.0-magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale has been registered in Southeastern Bulgaria, according to the European Seismology Center.
The tremor occurred at 10:48 pm Friday night EET, the Bulgarian Seismology Service announced Saturday, saying also its magnitude was 3.8.
The earthquake’s epicenter was located 10 km south of the city of Sliven and 60 km south of the city of Stara Zagora, at a depth of 3 km.
The earthquake was felt in Sliven, Yambol, Nova Zagora, and as far north as the city of Ruse on the Danube.
According to the Bulgarian Interior Ministry, the earthquake had a magnitude of 4.2, and an epicenter 230 km east of Sofia.
There are no reports of damages or injuries.
