Money Laundering Crime Ring Busted in Plovdiv, Sothern Bulgaria
The Plovdiv District Prosecution Office has broken a criminal operation for money laundering related to computer fraud (phishing) outside Bulgaria.

Sofia police have busted a crime group suspected of ATM scams.
The specialized police operation started at around 5.30 p.m. when a Ford Focus carrying the members of the alleged crime ring was spotted traveling from Sofia University in the direction of Orlov Most.
A police patrol stopped the car and the driver was asked to present his documents and to turn off the headlights and the engine.
The man did not comply with the orders and sped away.
After a chase in the Iztok residential district, the vehicle was stopped, three were arrested, but the driver managed to run away.
All of the suspects have criminal records and one has been convicted in France for forging credit and debit cards
The others have been found guilty of rape, drug dealing, theft and assault and battery.
In the course of the police operation, the officers seized fake documents and debit and credit card plastics.
The investigation into the case continues and the driver of the car is still wanted.
