Caretaker Government Proposes New Measures to Support Bulgarian Business

The advantages of the business environment in Bulgaria and the investment opportunities in sectors with high added value will be presented in London to around 100 managers from leading international companies, financial investors and representatives of the Bulgarian business.
The London conference is the first in a series of meetings aimed at presenting investment opportunities in Bulgaria in global financial capitals, news portal dnevnik.bg reports.
The forum will be opened by Traicho Traikov, Minister of Economy, Energy and Tourism, and will emphasize the I.T. sector and outsourcing.
The event is organized by the Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism and the Bulgarian Investment Agency as a part of the project for boosting Bulgaria's popularity as an investment destination, financed under the Operational Program "Competitive power.
Bulgaria's investment climate will be presented in a total of nine countries.
In Belgium and France, the campaign will be focused on food, agriculture and logistics, while in Russia and Dubai the emphasis will fall on the food industry and tourism.
Bulgaria's presentation in Germany will highlight transport, the chemical industry and electrical technologies, while the conferences in Japan and China will feature logistics in addition to the sectors listed above.
The promotional campaign in the United States will include all sectors except for tourism.
The project is worth over BGN 21 M and is financed under the "Competitive Power" OP.
Only a limited number of carefully selected investors will be invited to the events in a bid to enhance the overall impact of the promotion.
