Manchester United's unsettled striker Dimitar Berbatov would consider a move to Russian billionaires Anzhi Makhachkala, his agent has confirmed.
"We would be interested when Anzhi make a concrete offer," the agent, Emil Danchev, is quoted as saying by the Daily Mirror.
"We will sit down with Dimitar and ponder this," Danchev has stated, adding that he is not sure whether his client is happy with the Red Devils.
According to Life Sports, Anzhi are willing to pay Berbatov EUR 9 M per year, while the striker is aiming for EUR 15 M, which may turn out to be an obstacle to the deal.
The once obscure Russian club have already bought the likes of Roberto Carlos, Yuri Zhirkov and Inter's former star striker Samuel Eto'o.
PSG, Galatasaray, Bayern Munich, Valencia and Napoli are among the clubs reportedly willing to snap up the prolific Bulgarian forward who dropped down the pecking order at Old Trafford following the emergence of Danny Welbeck and Javier Hernandez.
