Bulgaria, Kazakhstan Ink Economic Agreement, Focus on Innovations

Innovations have been mentioned as a key factor in Bulgaria and Kazakhstan's future economic relations, as the two countries signed an intergovernmental agreement on economic cooperation.

"Innovations are a priority for Bulgaria as well as for Kazakhstan," Bulgaria's Minister of Economy, Energy and Tourism Traicho Traikov said after the signing ceremony during his official visit to Kazakhstan.

"Innovations lay the foundation for your economic strategy and are of great importance for Kazakhstan," Traikov pointed out, according to Gazeta.kh. He stressed, that Bulgarian companies are interested in cooperating with Kazakh enterprises that obtain state support for implementing innovations.

It was Traikov and Kazakhstan's Deputy Prime Minister, the country's Minister of Industry and Trade, Asset Issekeshev, who signed the agreement.
