Bulgaria's Ministry of Transport, IT, and Communications launched Tuesday free witless internet in the park in front of the National Ivan Vazov Theater in downtown Sofia.

The initiative belongs to Transport Minister, Ivaylo Moskovski.

The access to high-speed internet is free of charge with owners of laptops, tablets, and smartphones only needing to connect to the wireless network "MTITC Free Internet" through a standard browser.

The connection runs to the Transport Ministry on a optic cable. The connection speed is 1Gbps. There is a specially configured VLAN. The user name and password are entered in advance. The speed of any single user is limited to 5Mbps.
