Ronnie O'Sullivan, the man often described as the biggest star in the world of snooker, will pay a visit to Bulgaria on December 13,

In Sofia, the eccentric Englishman will play his compatriot, promising youngster Jack Lisowski, in a demonstrative match, the bTV private channel said.

O'Sullivan may also show a trick or two to talented Bulgarian snooker players, according to the Blitz online tabloid.

O'Sullivan, nicknamed "The Rocket",  has been World Champion on three occasions (2001, 2004 and 2008), and is second on the all-time prize-money list, with career earnings of over GBP 6 M. He has been the world's no. 1 player on five occasions, has won a total of 22 ranking titles, and has compiled a record 11 maximum breaks in professional competition, including the fastest maximum break recorded in history.

In June, four-times world snooker champion John Higgins also visited Bulgaria and said he was delighted by the country's organization of the 2011 European Snooker Championship.

Over the past years, snooker has become increasingly popular in Bulgaria.
