The Strong Earthquake in Taiwan Caused Equipment Damage at TSMC Chipmaker
The intense earthquake that rattled Taiwan early Wednesday, led to equipment damage at the semiconductor giant Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC)
A light earthquake has been registered in southeastern Bulgaria, according to the Seismology Center of the Geophysical Institute of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, BAS.
The epicenter of the earthquake, which hit at 5:17 am Friday, was located 240 southeast of Sofia, near the city of Yambol, but outside the boundaries of the city. The shock was was felt by some residents in the Yambol Region.
The earthquake had a magnitude of 3.3 on the Richter scale. There are no reports of damages or injuries. No aftershocks have been registered.
