Bulgaria's top female tennis player Tsvetana Pironkova faces on Monday US star Venus Williams in the fourth round of Wimbledon and in a repeat of last year's quarter final match.
Pironkova and Williams will have a face-off a round earlier at Wimbledon 2011 after on Friday Pironkova crushed Vera Zvonareva 6-2, 6-3, avenging her loss to Zvonareva at the semi-final of last year's Wimbledon.
Shortly after that on Friday, Venus Williams beat Spain's Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez 6-0, 6-2.
The 23rd-seeded Venus Williams is a five-time winner of Wimbledon, her last title being in 2008; she lost to her sister Serena in the 2009 final.
Venus Williams, however, has only one win against Bulgaria's Pironkova – back in 2005 in Istanbul.
In addition to beating Williams 6-2, 6-3 at the 2010 Wimbledon quarter final, Pironkova also beat her back in 2006 in the first round of Australian Open.
