Bulgaria: Hellenic Business Council in Bulgaria Elects New Board of Directors

The Hellenic Business Council in Bulgaria uniting major Greek investors in the country has announced the election of a new Board of Directors.

At a recent General Assembly meeting, the Hellenic Business Council in Bulgaria elected as board members Nikolaos Kalaitzidakis, Country General Manager, Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria; Evangelos Lytras, Country Manager, Alpha Bank Bulgaria; Makis Mavropoulos, Director, Report BG; and Ioannis Xirouhakis, Country Manager, Unisystems Bulgaria.

Stamatis Theodoropoulos, General Manager, Chipita and Georgios Roussos, CEO, Intracom Bulgaria were reelected.

They join the existing Board members Mr. Angelos Paraschakis, CEO, DDB Sofia, Mrs. Kleoniki Georgiadou, Executive Director, Dromeas and Loukas Louka, Managing Director, Cypbul Enterprises.

Stamatios Theodoropoulos was elected the new chair of the HBCB; Nikolaos Kalaitzidakis, Evangelos Lytras, and Georgios Roussos are the new deputy chairs; and Angelos Paraschakis is the new secretary general.

HBCB has thanked outgoing Board members Ioannis Polykandriotis, CEO of Eko Bulgaria, Antony Hassiotis, CEO, Postbank Bulgaria, Nikolaos Georgopoulos, CEO of Drujba Glassworks, and. Spyridon Argyropoulos, President and Managing Director of BB&T, for their commitment to HBCB throughout their own tenures.
