First day of spring comes to Bulgaria with low temperatures and cloudy weather.
In astronomical terms, spring in Bulgaria began with the vernal equinox at 1:21 am on March 21.
The spring solstice means that the day and the night will last equally. The length of the days will increase as the season progresses.
Spring lasts until the start of summer at the summer solstice.
Although it is officially springtime, the weather in Bulgaria will continue to be cloudy until Thursday. Minimal temperatures will be between 2-4 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperatures ill be 4-6 degrees Celsius.
The second half of the week will bring back the warm weather. Minimal temperatures will be 5-9 degrees Celsius, while the maximum will reach 20 degrees Celsius.
Rainfalls will stop on Tuesday, but are expected to return at the beginning of next week.
