Apparently security measures at Moscow's Domodedovo airport were not tight enough, admonished Russian President Dmitry Medvedev in the wake of Monday's tragic terrorist attack.

The bomb explosion left 35 killed and some 180 badly injured. The explosion is estimated to have been the equivalent of 5-7 kg TNT.

According to initial reports quoted by RIA Novosti, the terrorists were one man and one woman who have perished in the explosion.

"What happened demonstrates that there are lapses in airport security," stated the Russian Presiden. "Everybody working with the company that makes the decisions at the airport, as well as airport authorities must be held responsible for what happened. This is a terrorist act. This is a great sorrow, a tragedy."
