Russian PM Vladimir Putin has summoned the citizens of the Russian Federation to come up with a new name for his new pet, the Bulgarian Shepherd puppy that his Bulgarian counterpart Boyko Borisov presented to him.

Putin's cute new friend, originally named Yorgo, has felt fine during the flight to the Moscow and adjusts fast to the new environment, according to the Russian PM's Press-Secretary Dmitriy Peskov.

Peskov announced Tuesday that Putin considers renaming his new puppy. However, the Russian PM has still not thought of an appropriate name.

Therefore, any suggestions for male names are welcome on Putin's official website.

Yorgo the Shepherd dog was born on August 29 2010. He has 9 brothers and one sister and was originally named Ares, after the Greek god of war.

The Bulgarian shepherd dog is an extremely rare breed which originated in Bulgaria as a large, massive mountain livestock guardian dog.
