Russian President Dmitry Medvedev will decorate with state order "For Bravery" foreign firefighters who helped quench the disastrous fires that engulfed European Russia over the summer.

Among them is Bulgarian chief fire inspector Valentin Angelov from the Svilengrad fire brigade.

The ceremony will be held Wednesday.

In early August, Bulgarian authorities sent 95 firefighters to help fight Russian wildfires ravaging the countryside around capital Moscow. They went to receive high praise for their work by PM Vladimir Putin.
