Bulgarian Minister of Economy Traicho Traikov met president of Formula One Management Bernard Ecclestone in Monza, Italy Saturday.

The two discussed the opportunities and conditions for building a Formula 1 racetrack in Bulgaria.

Bernie Ecclestone voiced interest in that idea and committed to visit Bulgaria in the coming weeks to familiarize himself with details of the project.

Within this and last week, a scandal broke out around negotiations for investing the future F1 track with Abu Dhabi company EABG.
