Bulgaria Names Euro 2012 Qualifiers Line-Up

Levski Sofia defender Veselin Minev will be part of the line-up of the almost entirely foreign-based Bulgarian team for its 2012 European Championship qualifying opener against England next Friday.
Bulgaria coach Stanimir Stoilov is facing an uphill struggle as he struggles to replace Manchester United and Bulgaria striker Dimitar Berbatov.
Berbatov announced at the beginning of May his retirement from international football with immediate effect. The 29-year-old was captain of his country and scored a national record 48 goals in just 74 matches.
Berbatov has repeatedly said that the decision about leaving Bulgaria's national football team was not a decision he took lightly. He has hinted that he has plans for top management post once he returns to his home country.
Bulgaria plays at England next Friday and then will face off Montenegro in Sofia on Sept. 7. Its other rivals in Group G are Switzerland and Wales.
