The Spanish National Guard has arrested four Bulgarians and two Spaniards for drug trafficking in a special operation.

The Spanish police forces captured the men with 4.2 tonnes of hashish, and confiscated EUR 70 000, two guns, six cars, a yacht, and fake IDs, reported Europa Press.

The men were busted in the Gabela Operation which took place in the provinces of Alicante, Malaga, Jaen, and Murcia following an investigation that started in April.

No details have been provided about the origin of the narcotics or about the exact role of the Bulgarians in the drug trafficking scheme.
