A German man, arrested over a series of rapes, have confessed about 300 sexual abuses.
The 46-year old man who lived in Western Germany and worked as a locksmith, has committed the crimes in the past 19 years on the territory of Germany and Belgium.
The man has been arrested in March, under the request for extradition, issued by Belgium.
At that time he has been accused of 18 rapes and dozens of sexual abuses. However, he has confessed about 300 rapes and about 1000 more attempts.
According to the German Prosecution's Office, the ways in which the man was committing the crimes was the same – in order to decoy the victims, the man appeared at their doors at home, pretending to be a disabled person with paralyzed hands, and begged them to help him urinate.
The victims were mostly housewives, nurses, working in nursing homes or girls, living in the student dormitories in the German city of Düsseldorf.
For the time being, the man has been accused only of three rapes and six rape attempts.
