The Regional Prosecutor's Office in the southern Bulgarian city of Blagoevgrad is probing Asen Berbatov, brother of Bulgaria's football star and Manchester United striker, Dimitar, for credit card draining.
The information is reported by the Blagoevgrad correspondent of the Bulgarian news agency BGNES.
The Prosecutor had began a pre-trail procedure over the draining of credit cards through a POS terminal that was located inside Asen Berbatov's recently closed design clothing store in Blagoevgrad.
On April 22, the local police searched Berbatov's house and had found the cash register, used as POS terminal, and evidence of some suspicious credit card payments.
The Prosecutor informs they are trying to find out if Asen and his wife Dimitrinka are part of an international crime network dealing with credit card draining.
