The parliament has to approve a privatization plan on Bulgartabac Holding in a month. Then the procedure on its denationalization is to start, experts from king`s coalition stated today. The new strategy envisages two variants of the holding`s sale. `If a buyer for the total venture is not found, we will resort to splitting the separate businesses,` said expert Vladimir Karolev. He warned that its price was continuously dropping. In a short time a large-scale marketing campaign of Bulgartabac is to start abroad as well. The profitable ventures have already stirred up interest. Michailidis, Reemstma, Socotab and Philip Morris are among the firm candidates. Experts predict problems with the ownership of certain parts of the holding, because of the shares sold through the mass privatization.
