ONE MINUTE VOTING TIME IN PARLIAMENT

Voting time in parliament was set at one minute, the temporary commission of the 39th National Assembly decided on Tuesday. The 15 seconds option proposed by the commission`s chairman Georgi Petkanov was not accepted by the caucuses of the Coalition for Bulgaria, the United Democratic Forces and the Movement for Rights and Freedoms. Parliament will sit three days a week. Reports on draft bills have to be brought to the floor for debates within two months after their submission. During the parliamentary hearings procedure prime minister will answer inquiries on pending matters, but also questions concerning the behaviour of the ministers and the cabinet`s overall policy.
