The largest ice rink in Eastern Europe is set to open on the Ariana Lake in downtown Sofia on Saturday.
The huge ice rink sponsored by M-Tel will open on 12 December on Lake Ariana and will cover 1400 sq/m.
The M-Tel Rink will be officialy opened by Bulgaria PM Boyko Borisov at 11:30 am Saturday and it will operate 24 hours a day.
400 pairs of skates will be available to rent at a rate of BGN 3 for a whole day. Entrance to the rink will also be BGN 3. The winter park will operate until the end of March 2010. There is expected to be regular DJ parties, skating competitions and charity events at the rink.
