TikTok Removes 34 Election-Linked Accounts in Bulgaria Amid Manipulation Claims
TikTok has removed 34 accounts linked to what it described as coordinated inauthentic activity connected to Bulgaria’s upcoming parliamentary elections

The full official result of Sunday’s Romanian Presidential Election confirmed a narrow victory to the incumbent Traian Basescu.
Basescu received 50,33% of the vote, while his run-off opponent Mirces Geoana took 49,66%. Voter turnout was 58,02%.
The precise numbers of valid ballot papers were: Basescu – 5 275 808; Geoana – 5 205 760. 1,3% of ballot papers were annulled, according to the official web site of Romania’s Cenrtral Election Office.
The narrow margin of victory in Basescu’s favor had been predicted as partial counts progressed on Monday. Earlier, exit polls published by the media had predicted victory for the challenger, former Foreign Minister Mircea Geoana.
The opposition had earlier announced they had proof of fraud, and would contest the results.
Basescu has to chooses a new Prime Minister in order to fully reconvene the Romanian parliament, and attempt to restore stability and renewed international co-operation and financing.
