Amoz Os, the prominent Israeli writer, novelist and journalist, will pay his first visit to Bulgaria on December 5 to present his new book “Rhyming Life and Death” in the framework of Sofia book fair.
The writer, who is invariably among the nominees for Nobel prize over the last few years, is one of the most influential and well-regarded intellectuals in Israel.
He is author of more than 18 books, translated into 35 languages and more than 450 essays. The Bulgarian readers already know four of them - “A Tale of Love and Darkness", “To Know a Woman”, “Black Box” and “How to Cure a Fanatic".
In his latest book, described by critics as one of the deepest and most successful in his whole career, the author traces eight hours of the life of a writer, searching for his place, squeezed between fiction and reality, life and death.
