English Translation of 'The Case of Cem': Celebrating Bulgarian Vera Mutafchieva's 95th Birthday
In a tribute to Vera Mutafchieva's literary brilliance and cultural impact, Sofia hosted an event marking the 95th anniversary of her birth
Nearly a week after the first season of ‘The Price of Truth’ TV show finished on Nova TV, the Council for Electronic Media (CEM) announced that it should not be shown before 23:00.
The acting head of the CEM, Maya Vaptsarova, signed an order Monday to stop the hit show being shown before 23:00.
According to Vatsparova the show broadcast of "The Price of Truth" violates the law for radio and television programs by damaging the physical, mental and moral development of minors who watched the show at the 20:00 or 21:00 starting hour of the first season.
Nova TV now has a 14 day period in which to launch an appeal against the CEM ruling but according to local media it is unlikely to do so.
