The trial against Krasimir Dimitrov, one of the captains of the Bulgarian ships arrested in Romania, came to an end and he was released on bail. Unless the Prosecutor’s Office contests the decision of the court, the prosecutor at the Court of Appeals will release the other three captains. The next cases are scheduled to take place July 10 – 17. Legislation envisages a separate procedure for the four boats, where huge amounts of bails are expected. Four Bulgarian boats and their crews were detained on May 3 and 4 in Romania's exclusive economic zone on charges of poaching. In the meantime ten of the eleven sailors from the fishing boats detained in Romania returned to Bulgaria.
