The Bulgaria Ministry of Health has stated that 260 out of every 10 000 people in Bulgaria are currently suffering from swine flu.
The Ministry added that over 4 500 cases of flu or acute respiratory illnesses have been registered over the last week.
Meanwhile the Medicines Agency has reported that many pharmacies are illegally selling antivirus products without a prescription for the treatment of the A(H1N1) virus. The fines to pharmacies that are caught is between BGN 1 000 and BGN 3 000
