An increasing number of Bulgarians and citizens of neighboring Balkan countries are rushing to buy tickets for the Bulgarian state lottery known as “Toto”.
The jackpot for the upcoming draw on Thursday is expected to reach over BGN 3 M in the “6 of 49” game of the Toto. It has not been won for over 30 draws – since mid August.
Romanian citizens are specially coming to the city of Ruse in order to purchase tickets for the lottery, the Bulgarian Sports Totalizator has announced.
The most expensive ticket worth BGN 6 102 has been bought in the Lyulin Quarter in Sofia; another ticket cost BGN 5 256 in the Krasno Selo Quarter; and still another expensive ticket was bought in the Mladost Quarter – BGN 5 109.
A total of 27 tickets worth over BGN 3 000 each have bought in Sofia as the craze for the jackpot is mounting. The more one spends on a Toto ticket, the greater number of combinations they can fill in, which gives them a greater chance of winning.
