A 52-year-old man, who died Monday in the southwest town of Petrich, is the eighth swine flu casualty in Bulgaria.

This is the second flu death in Bulgaria in less than a day as a 15-year-old teenager died Sunday night, and the second fatality of the A(H1N1) virus in Petrich, where a 27-year-old man died last week.

Bulgaria declared a swine flu epidemic on Friday, November 6. All schools in the country are in a flu break starting Monday.
