Members of the Spanish parliamentary European Union Commission support the participation of Bulgaria and Romania in the 2004 elections for European Parliament. If by then the two countries have not become members of the EU, their MPs will have the status of observers in the European Parliament, MP Dimitur Abadzhiev said upon his return from Romania on Friday where he attended a trilateral session of the European Union parliamentary committees of Bulgaria, Spain and Romania, together with Daniel Vulchev, Chairman of the Bulgarian European Integration Committee.
