Bulgaria's industrial production grew by 1,6% in July 2009 compared to the previous month.
This becomes clear from data released by the National Statistical Institute. Thus, after the 7,5% growth in June, July is the second month in a row with in which Bulgaria industrial output growths after the crisis hit the economy in the spring.
Bulgaria's extracting industry has grown by 8,9% in July (mostly coal and ore mining), and the energy has grown by 5,3%. At the same time, the processing industry has declined by 0,1%.
Yet, Bulgaria's industrial output has declined by 18,9% in July 2009 year-on-year. The extracting industry has declined by 13%, and the processing industry - by 24,3% year-on-year. The energy output has increased by 1,3% year-on-year.
