Seven Bulgarians from the "Ilinden" ship that sunk Saturday in the Ohrid Lake have been transported to the Ohrid hospital.

The information was reported by Doctor Milcho Stefanovski, the physician on duty at the hospital.

Stefanovski says that six of the patients are in stable condition and their life is not in danger, but one woman had been dead before arriving at the faculties and all attempts to revive her failed.

The boat with Bulgarian and Serbian tourists aboard sunk during a sightseeing tour of Macedonia's Ohrid Lake, according to local police.

Private A1 TV said that 50 tourists from Bulgaria were on the boat that was on travelling from the town of Ohrid to a medieval monastery complex, Sveti Naum (St. Naum).

The number of people pulled from the water as well as the casualties, including Bulgarians, remains unconfirmed, with reports listing the Bulgarian dead toll anywhere between 6 and 17.
