A 39-year-old Bulgarian man was caught with a blood alcohol content of .608 in the Western city of Pernik.

The man, whose name is Veselin Michev, refused to have a blood test on the spot, and was taken to the arrest.

The Pernik police have refused to take guesses as to how much alcohol exactly the man had consumed before being caught but they believe he had at least 2 bottles of hard liquor.

What surprised the policemen was the fact that upon getting off his car, Milchev could stand on his feet, and was behaved totally adequately.

Milchev was unable to beat the absolutely record of a blood alcohol content of .914 registered by a 67-year-old man on Christmas of 2005 in the southern Bulgarian city of Plovdiv. For comparison, the level of anesthesia for surgeries is .35.
