A light earthquake of 3,0 on the Richter scale was registered Sunday around 4:30 pm in Southwestern Bulgaria, in the Blagoevgrad Region.

The Bulgarian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that the quake's epicenter was at about 90 kilometers southwest from the capital Sofia.

The tremor was not felt by the Blagoevgrad residents.

No injuries or damages have been reported.
