The Swiss team sustained heavy injuries during the eight leg of rally Bulgaria held over the weekend in the area of the Borovets mountain resort.
The incident happened on the Sestrimo-Yundola road.
The navigator of the team died while the driver has been seriously injured.
The rally continues Sunday afternoon despite the serious incident. The decision was made during an emergency meeting of the sports commissioners.
The first car was scheduled to start about 10:36 am.
Several roads in the area have been closed because of the rally. Normal traffic is expected to resume Sunday afternoon.
