The victims of the hellish bus crash at the Bakadzhik peak near the Bulgarian city of Yambol have become 18.

72-year-old Radka Stefanova Pehlivanova, passed away Sunday of her injuries in the Yambol hospital, Darik Radio reported.

She was among those who suffered the most severe injuries, and were immediately transported for medical help.

A bus careered down a mountainside called Bakadzhik Peak and plowed through a crowd of pedestrians heading to a religious festival in southeastern Bulgaria Thursday, killing 18 people and injuring at least 20.

Police said the bus had failed to stop due to a technical problem.
