The information has been presented Tuesday by the National Road Infrastructure Agency, the Pari Daily reported.
The largest part of the money (EUR 9,5 B) is for water infrastructure. The country needs EUR 3,7 B for roads, and another EUR 3,3 B for rail infrastructure.
In the same time, Bulgaria loses billions Euro over illegal practices. According to the Center for the Study of Democracy the gray economy causes EUR 5,1 B losses to the treasury.
Public orders and illegal state estates exchanges cause damages for, respectively, EUR 800 M and EUR 1,5 B each year. Human traffic defrauds the revenue by EUR 1,8 B a year.
All these result in a total amount of EUR 9,2 B losses for the Bulgarian treasury.
