Undercover Bulgarian journalists have managed to buy 500 votes for the coming Parliamentary Elections in the Roma quarters of the southern city of Plovdiv.

Three journalists from Bulgaria's 24 Chasa Daily conducted the experiment in order to demonstrate that the vote-buying is well underway just days before the July 5 Parliamentary elections, and that the authorities have achieved little, if any, success in their much publicized campaign to curb this sort of criminal activity.

Novinite.com has interview the 24 Chasa journalist in charge of the vote-buying story, Milen Petrov. Expect further details on the issue in an article in our Features section.
