The Bulgarian Telecommunication Company (BTC) has acquired 100% of the Bulgarian part of the mobile communications stores chain, 2be.

The deal has already been approved by BTC managing council, and is to be presented to the Competition Protection Commission, the company's press office announced. BTC has bought only the Bulgarian part of the 2be chain, without the Macedonian stores.

All 2be shops will become part of BTC shops, and until the end of the year they will be re-branded. Thus BTC will double its shops number. Currently, 2be has 112 stores around Bulgaria. After the new brand is created BTC will have a total of 240 stores.
