The President of the European Commission, Jose Manuel Barroso, is going to attend the World Energy Summit in Sofia Friday.
The news was announced Thursday by the European Commission, and disproves unofficial information which appeared Wednesday that Barroso was going to skip the "Natural Gas for Europe. Security and Partnership" summit organized by the Bulgarian government.
Barroso is going to deliver the keynote address at the Sofia energy summit, which is taking place on April 24-25, 2009, and will be attended by top ranking officials of more than 30 countries.
