Most of Sofia city center will be blocked off over the arrival of VIP guests for the two-day energy forum starting Friday.
To guarantee the security of the VIP guests, including over 10 heads of state, Bulgaria's special services will cordon off the city center.
The two-day forum 'Natural Gas for Europe. Security and Cooperation' will start on Friday morning and will continue until Saturday evening. The road to Sofia airport will also be closed for a long period of time.
During the time of the forum police and task officers will be on patrol around the clock, especially around the central Vitosha Boulevard where spot checks can be expected for pedestrians.
