The events that took place during the Papal visit in Bulgaria are so significant that it is very difficult to assess them in the week that follows them, Bulgaria's Foreign Minister Passy said in an exclusive interview for novinite.com. "That was a giant step towards making closer Catholicism and Orthodoxy and is a great progress towards making closer all religions in the world," Passy said. "We had the unique chance during this visit, the Pope to say the sacral words, we have been waiting for twenty years now, namely, that Bulgaria is entirely innocent concerning the assassination attempt on the Pope's life," Passy pointed out.
